Picked Daddy up from school today to have a surprise pick-nick at the Franklin Institute park. Couldn't have been a nicer fall afternoon.

Today was a good day. We got a little adventurous and spent last night in Washington DC in preps for a wedding for Clay's mission friend. I was extra excited getting up there because our new temple district is Washington DC! It was my first time at the DC temple! Woot!  While Clay was in on the wedding ceremony, V and I walked around the temple grounds and even went in and checked out the visitor center. Pretty special mom and lil buddy time talking temples and stuff. :) The visitor center had on display "Jesus once was a little child," the artwork of Rose Datoc Dall.  I loved it! Click Rose Datoc Dall painting series to see what I am talking about.
