12/01/2013 While on vacation V came down with his first ear infection. We took him to the instacare the morning of our flight home. Grateful for antibiotics and good doctors.

10/07/2013 Clay installed a spy-cam in V's room and I love watching him when he doesn't know it. I can't believe he is already standing himself up against his crib, walls, and the coffee table.

09/25/13 Last night was the first time V crawled all the way to me while in the kitchen. To his great surprise and greatest pleasure he found the dog water fountain! It was fun to watch him splash, blink, smile, repeat!
09/18/13 It was pretty cool to watch V truly CRAWL for the first time after
something he wanted tonight. Total crack up! I was sitting on the floor
eating a homemade oreo shake, (if you want to know how to make the best
shakes, just ask) and guilty as charged. I was totally willing to share with that little guy. I
reached over to where he was and put a little spoon full in his
month...from there you watched the gears turn! Once V made it to me he was quick enough he even got a hand in the cup! V and I totally shared a shake, and Clay and I totally shared a "ahhh moment" as parents.
09/17/13 First story that comes to mind about baby V happened on Sunday. It was my week to have V for the final block of church, and boy did he cause ladies who were trying to sit reverently turn to giggles! V has been experimenting and having so much fun in "making raspberries" with his mouth. Of course you can finish the rest of the story. We ended up in the hallway because V was going all out for his best yet raspberries. I love this stage! The video below shows what I'm talking about. Just the next day was when I caught him on tape. ha.
